Our new home had a guest room at the top of a few stairs and there was no handrail making it unsafe for my elderly parents. I'm so glad I found SI Handrails. The ability to customize the length was a great help, and it was installed by my handyman with no problem! (Great video tutorial.) I'm very happy with how sturdy it is and how it looks.
Jesus was great to work with on my order- I needed a custom angle on his modern handrail and he was able to do it without any issues and was very responsive to all of my questions.
Handrails are mounted and look great! The only change I made was using stronger screws (5” ledgerlok) for the installation.
Pro: Attractive design installed.
Cons: 1) Orignial items came damaged. Do not know if in creation or inadequate packing. 2) Even though it may make installation more challenging, would prefer 3 mounting holes for long-term stability. 3) Rather than providing black screws to match, vendor provided zinc screws with touch-up paint. For over $300, I expected more.
Overall, I am satisfied so far.
Looks beautiful. Generally easy to install. I asked for a little help with instructions and received quick response. The look was just right for the stairs and our remodel of the surround. Very sturdy. We needed two sections to achieve the 10 feet we needed. It came together nicely.

This handrail really updated my stairwell at an affordable price point. Seller promptly answered my question and confirmed that I could use 4 brackets for a 12' rail instead of 5.
