Our new home had a guest room at the top of a few stairs and there was no handrail making it unsafe for my elderly parents. I'm so glad I found SI Handrails. The ability to customize the length was a great help, and it was installed by my handyman with no problem! (Great video tutorial.) I'm very happy with how sturdy it is and how it looks.
The two part rail is well designed and well manufactured.
The packaging contained a paint filled container with no label. I opened it assuming there were parts inside and got paint on my hands and clothes. Liquid filled container with no label. Very bad idea.
Great product
I love the look and heft of the stair hand rail, but am not clear on how to install it. All that came was the rail, the supports and two sizes of screws. NO DIRECTIONS!! I am a 69 year old woman and need more information as how to attach the rail to the supports. I would like to purchase another longer hand rail for my upstairs if I can get some info on installation.
